Make sure your decorative candles are placed away from other objects on a safe, heat-proof surface.

Always practice basic rules of fire safety.

Before extinguishing your candle, liquified wax should reach most of the circumference of your candle, if possible. Make sure your decorative candles are placed away from other objects on a safe, heat-proof surface. Always practice basic rules of fire safety. Discontinue burning when ½” wax remains at the bottom of the glass candle jars to protect surfaces from heat exposure.

To keep your candle burning evenly, trim the non-metal wick to ¼" before every lighting. Rotate the candle regularly and keep it away from drafts. To prevent the container from cracking, do not place on cold surfaces such as glass or marble.
